Lori comes to us from St. Andrews, Scotland. Certified to teach the Ashtanga Primary Series, Pranayama (breath control), Meditation, and Sat-Kriyas (purification), Lori’s class style blends the intense physical asanas of Ashtanga, with pranayama and the more spiritual aspects of yoga creating an “immoveable union” of mind, body, and spirit. She is inspired by legendary yogis like Sri Sri Ravi Shankakar, Sri Neem Karoli Baba Maharaj-ji, and Indra Devi (to name a few), and strives to live her life by Mahatma Gandhi's quote of 'being the change you wish to see in the world…’

Jenny has been practicing yoga since 1997, starting for low back pain after a car accident and continuing for stress relief from increasing pressure at work. She completed her 200 hour Hatha based training in December 2012 at Asana Studio. She aspires to create a safe and comfortable place to begin or deepen your yoga practice. She always encourages students to connect with and listen to their own body, taking their practice to the level that is right for them.

Erika Schoonmaker began her yoga journey during her tour in the United States Peace Corps. She found peace, balance and strength within the practice. She is a 2012 graduate of the Axis Yoga Teacher Training program. Erika's teaching style lends itself to students of all levels, but especially to beginners. Her Hatha based classes focus on the gentle flow and peace that yoga can bring. She teaches a gentle flow class followed by a restorative class.

Michael discovered yoga in his mid 20s and always had a passion for it, but it was only a couple of years ago that he rediscovered it, and found his spiritual practice deeply embodied in the principles of yogic philosophy. Today he practices yoga with devotion, and does his best to be of service to the world community; creating my personal Dharma. He incorporates his love of music with a devotion to teaching yoga has been the most profound and rewarding experience this life time.

Gary began practicing Iyengar Yoga in 1986 and it changed his life...it saved his life! He was in pain every day from a number of surgeries and his lifestyle was unhealthy. Now he teaches yoga because he knows first hand the power it gives people to change their life – mind, body and spirit. He began teaching in 1990, earned his first certification in 1993, has over 12,000 hours of experience, and teaches workshops and retreats around Colorado. He is an expert in therapeutics and enjoys helping people get more out of life. His teaching is precise with close attention to alignment, correct action, and the needs of his students.

Susan Trapp began teaching Iyengar style yoga in 1998, when she co-owned Gladish Yoga Studio in Pullman, WA. Susan has been a long time practitioner of Iyengar Yoga, but also draws from yin-yang, anusara, vinyasa, and most recently acro-yoga and ashtanga styles. Susan interweaves the teachings and practices of Yoga and Tantric and Dzogchen Buddhist practices. Her main teachers over the years are John Schumacher, Jerry Stewart, Cathy Wright, Leslie Bradley, Sarah Powers, Yuki, Charlotte and Pieter Rotterdam, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Lama Tsultrim Allione.

Whitley strives to bring out the inner beauty in each student. She offers positive, powerful tools for self discovery and healing. You will find her classes to somewhat challenging but accessible to all. Each class incorporates a different theme and explores the vast nature of the body, heart and mind. In addition to asana, Whitley also teaches pranayama and meditation. When she is not teaching, you will find her hiking in the mountains or simply outside connecting with nature. Whitley has recently been self-studying crystal healing and herbal medicine. She hopes to some day be a 500 RYT and Reiki Master.

It was love at first mat. 12 years ago, I met my mat for the first time. It was the first time I had ever experienced that moment. The present moment. I love yoga. It saved me from me. I believe you are able to heal yourself physically and mentally through your yoga practice. Allowing yourself to be in its perfection with all of your brokenness. I had a life long goal to become a yoga instructor. I was unable to find a Certification program within the DFW area that was a full Yoga Teacher Training. When we relocated to Arvada I found Asana. I graduated from Give Peace A Chance YTT in May of 2015.

Krystal’s fire for yoga was sparked in college, however her yogic passion and dedication to practice began to unfold at Asana Studio in 2014. As a Give Peace a Chance 2015 RYT-200 graduate, she aims to with mindful integrity and openness inspire and empower others through yoga. Krystal invites you to explore returning balance in your breath, body, and senses through her offering of an earthy, grounded, and safe practice.

Yoga is a deeply personal practice and the healing, growth, and transformation that take place are unique to each student. Ramsay holds a safe space for this personal self-discovery in all realms - physical, emotional, and spiritual. Her teaching integrates breath, dharma, strength-building and alignment in all its forms. When our bones and the structure of our bodies are aligned, we build strength and flexibility. When our inner truth is in alignment with the way we interact with the world, we build integrity. And when our breath can flow with ease through a well aligned spine, we find grace. In Ramsay’s classes you will stoke your inner fire, restore and find balance, and engage meaningfully with your particular intentions in life. Ramsay is E-RYT 200 certified and she teaches a variety of classes, including Prenatal, Align & Flow, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin.

Bri has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She has found it to be an excellent foundation to navigate the ups and downs in her personal story and believes in its ability to bring wellness to her being and remove dis-ease from her mind. Ever distracted by the Amazing Colorado wilderness, she takes her practice into the mountains often where she hikes, climbs, camps, skis and snowboards and practices her devoted new practice of fly fishing. At home, she enjoys the presence of her two children and her cattle dog Kahmir. Bri believes in the infinite potential of every being. Her teachings are rooted in Tapas (austerity) and Mukti (freedom). Join Bri to move, breathe and become unbound by past experience, judgement and expectation.

Kim found her profound love for yoga when her daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis and had extensive spinal fusion to correct the curvature. Wanting to keep her daughter’s spine strong and body limber she signed them both up for a month of yoga. Kim began to practice more frequently realizing how wonderful yoga was. She takes yoga into other areas of her life helping with sleep, stress, relationships and overall wellbeing. Kim has continued her yoga journey practicing frequently, attending yoga festivals and workshops. Attending Yoga Teacher Training and getting her 200 R-YT certificate was one of the most joyful times in her life. Kim believes the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation is for everyone and has the unique capacity to bring attention to the mind, body and breath, harmonizing your entire being, leading to a healthy limber body and calm focused mind. She aspires to share her love and knowledge of yoga in every class she teaches.
